let's start with the most recent

and hottest news: the trip to Ste Marie aux Mines for quiltfestival: the bobbins from Valdani as a prélude/

The quilts are from MARK DUNN'S , the Moda boss, private collection, a feast for the eye: he showed us antique quilts and copies, but i show you only the antique ones, and mostly fragments, just too difficult to picture the entire quilt, as the room was filled up with overexited fellow quilters.
Some, like the honeycomb, are a treasure of 19 century prints, and i could have studied them for hours.
Ill be back soon, and i promise it won't be for two and a half months, with pics from the other exhibitions, and socialising too which was a big part of our trip, we have met fascinating people, incredible food and drinks, and we are very motivated to go back next year.
Love to all, Will V in Paris

PS It took me 2 days  before blogger allowed me to upload pics, i dont feel at ease at allwith the new presentation.

Wow! I'd be so happy to own just one of those lovely quilts - imagine having a whole collection! Although it would be hard to choose just one...

I was wondering when the Moda peeps would start sharing the "event" that honored their boss and to see who "went". Back to the pictures!!!

well this maybe a wash. have tried three times to enter the words and zip..... do you know the word thing is ON.... it does not have to be but blogger sets it as standard unless you turn it off.
