Here's NEARLY INSANE

DH did what he could for a smart presentation of the top.
The missing part is hidden behind the chair on the right.
Quilting will be easy peasy compared to the piecing , i remember that from the time i quilted DEAR JANE !

I'm now Under the spel of MOUNTMELLICK from Di Ford , these bits and pièces  are for the third border.
I had a glimpse from the fourth part shown by Elsbeth Wallenburg , and that's a light summerjob, just triangles.

The overflowing scrapbox was the source for the hexagons.
This is the middle of the week already , where does time go??
If a day had 48 hours, it wouldn't be enough for me....
Happy quilting my friends , until next time.

Marvelous....

Thank for all the kind answers after my request, the solution has been
found and i also had  reactions on my FB account.

So Françoise , you're right , never a dull moment among quilters!

Helene Juul in Denmark , good to know you have a shop , i will bear this in mind.

Jill , thank you for mentioning Whittlesfabrics , they really have awesome deals for repro fabriclovers , but i'm not sure they will ship to Europe , will find out soon...

Karin , je bent een schat, hoop je toch een keer te ontmoeten daar aan de waterkant.... wie weet...LOL

Jenny Brear , i tried to contact Schoolhouse , but they seem to move to another location , and also are attending several quiltgatherings.

I had this kind of problems before and always found re replacement in the boxes Under the bed , but this time it's about sashings and outer border.
You've made my day and more of that.....

This is a cry for help....

This is a Marcus fabric , Judie Rothermel , collection PARTY OF TWELVE number 393.
The fabric as shown looks a bit wrinkled , sorry, the color is a light purple.
I hope there is anyone who can help me with a piece of 7 inch by 44 inch , roughly 20 cm ,
I used it for the sashings and outer borde for my nearly insane .
I knew from the beginning that it was risky , but i loved this fabric so much...
I can pay for it, of course, or trade with something french or whatever you want, no trouble.

The first picture is from a little border , probably 19th century , very sweet.
I had to do a boring thing in the 11th of Paris, just behind ALIGRE Market , with a brocante section.
The amount is small , just for two little borders.
As soon as DH is available for a little help i will picture NI and post it.
Have a very good weekend , Paris will be under the sun.....

Nantes

If i'm late with showing you pics from the exhibition , it's because i'm still struggling with Windows 8.1 on my brand new computer . Sky drive and other ghosts hount my days and nights , and that's also why you see my hexagon quilt first , while i intended this pic for the end of the posting , sorry for that...

A part of a lovely basket quilt , from the Quiltmania collection .
This sweet Japanese lady works with tiny bits and pièces she recycles in quilts, bags , and floorcloths .
I observed her for a while , she was incredibly quiet , answering our question with a little helper.
Quiltmania  published an article about her in the issue 100 ...

Some nice antique quilts and tops on the stand of Jane Lury and her husband , i know how fortunate we are in Europe with these real troopers , who come  for all the major quilt events  every year.

Michelle Yeo and Carolyn Konig came with their wonderful quilts , and i bought their books without a single moment of hesitation , Australian quilters are awesome , they make masterpieces !

Louise-Marie Stipon in front of one of her most impressive quilts .
Louise-Marie is one the Brouage quilters and had a retrospective of het long quilting career .

Another detail of Louise-Marie's logcabin , one block is not bigger than 3 inches ....
I stayed for only 1 day , so i missed the evening with Joes and Isabeau , bad idea , next year a longer stay i hope, with the help of a special piggy bank...
Take care , Will V in Paris.
