Last sunday

we had a lovely bee at the serial quilter-knitter-embroiderer, plenty of things to see, she showed us her baby dresses and we were all gobsmacked by seeing such beauties.

As usual it all started with coffee and cannelés made by Anne-Marie who was quilting for a deadline.

A corner of her room...

Progress on two Japanese quilt and a delicate storage box.

And this is what i saw when i came home, the grey Paris' roofs and a tiny little bit of people's lives. Tomorrow i with follow the news on TV all over the day: Our daughter lives in London and we feel concerned about the brexit. I hope the UK will stay in Europe.

Looks like you had a wonderful day with friends! I love all the quilts! And the little dress is gorgeous! Oh, and the pastries?? YUMMY. Hope the sun is back out again. So dark and gray with all those clouds!

Looks like a super day and for us so many beautiful things to see! I love that last picture, I just came back from a few days in Rome where we had an appartment in a very small street, in the evening I was able to look into the appartments opposite, through openings in the shutters, always so interesting.

What a fun day you've had, with a perfect ending. The dresses and quilts are masterful! Best wishes with the EU vote. Meanwhile, you might see our House of Representative democrats holding a "sit-in" for the right to vote on gun legislation. Yes, it's that bad.

Thinking good vibes for the vote in the UK. Also, passing thru Paris Oct 5-8. Perhaps we can have a coffee in monmartre? Best, Ann
