The small and the big one

For the first time i followed the instructions for a very small quilt on CHERI PAYNE's blog QUILTSBYCHERI, and i tell you: every day around 5 i watchted her blog for the next part, i added a frame because i like framed quilts and i hope she will start a new one very soon.

The big one is now basted for quilting, let me, say once again how quick and easy it was, only ten days a few hours a day.

I shopped in my boxes under the bed, and the fabric for the first border is a souvenir from a Joann's expedition to Houston festival 5 years ago.

I try to resist the temptation to start a new quilt and finish a few unfinished top instead.

Trudy had nauwe banden met mijn overleden zus Hanne en beiden deelden hun liefde voor quilts en lappen.
Ik moedig dan ook iedereen aan haar grote, eigenwijze , en toch traditionele quilts te gaan bekijken.
